Complete obedience. When I raid lead that is what I demand. If I say wipe, the group huddles in a corner to kiss their asses. If I say the boss is dying this attempt, it keels over and sprays purples at us. If I say jump in a fiery pit of lava because I got tired of Mins and Lubu messing up with the map, THE GROUP DOES IT. Guys, SHUT UP, this is seriously how we get back to Stormwind. Look, its right after Google Maps says to not jump in the large hole…um…I’ll have to get back to you guys.

Tensions arise as Tif completes ZG…without Dae! A quarrel in lover’s paradise occurs when Mograin catches Lubu with DR! Rathren returns from his big-game hunt in Nagrand…with no sign of Meukee, dead or alive! Mins’s evil twin Competent Healer crashes the raid! Riot comes back from the dead, only to find himself deep-fried again! Will Liberi Fatali survive? Can Hachi continue to write terrible jokes and still expect readers or is he resigned to working for SNL? Will his attempts to catch the eye of Demon’s daughter end miserably? Find out next week on All Hachi’s Children!

Before getting side-tracked by last week’s topic, I’d wanted to talk about the new troll heroics and their propensity to drown hunters in poison and decapitate healers. If you can’t tell yet, I’ve had some bad experiences with these places, even with a full group of Hachi Scouts. This is precisely why you should do these new heroics. “But Hachi!” you cry. “I’m clearly not as good or as sexy as you!” And how right you are!

I really grappled with how to approach this week’s blog (and yes, I’m aware I’m a week late but I took a much needed mental break). A rather important event in world history took place, something I wasn’t entirely certain I felt comfortable commenting on. No, it wasn’t the fact that I solo’ed the last boss of ZA from 25% or that the single mob I killed at a dig site dropped a Hyacinth Macaw. It wasn’t even the astoundingly cute girl who has taken more than a slight passing interest in me. These are all important instances obviously, but in all seriousness there was a rather significant piece of news.

Happy Hachimas everyone! We celebrate this day by the mailing Hachi bits of gold in traditional envelopes. This is said to bring good luck and fortune for the rest of the year. Oh and there’s this little thing that no one observes called Easter going on. I really don’t know who in the world belongs to that faith. Hunters maybe?

As some of you may have noticed, last week’s raid guide kind of annoyed me. A little. Perhaps enough to even want to stomp on the hopes and dreams of little orphans. OK, maybe not that much, just Riot’s. At any rate, the second installment is arriving today and to all who noticed I missed Guardian of Ancient Kings for paladins… You have earned lord Hachi’s wrath. 7 page blog posts does not a happy Hachi make.

Some of you may have noticed that we posted a cursory raider review for those of you who regularly raid with us and those of you who have expressed an interest in doing so. We’ve obviously missed a couple who recently joined us but expect those to come in the near future. The reviews can be found here. Please look over yours and if you feel something is in error, tell us why and provide a credible source. Don’t say “you’re wrong,” and give us no proof why.

Yeah…3 weeks since the last blog. Hachi Fan Club members pull out your 100-sided dice and roll for blame, it wasn’t my fault! I swear I’ve been busy. Do you SEE how many elementals are dead up there? Ok, fine, I may not have killed any of them but I found them. That counts for something, right? Anyways, I really do apologize for having taken such a long hiatus on it, but we should be back to regular updates by Sunday. Here’s what I’ve been up to, told in screenshot form.

As many of you may have heard, Japan was hit with a 8.9 earthquake this week, the 5th largest in recorded history. Fortunately, my mom and family live in Yokohama, hundreds of miles south of the epicenter. Unfortunately, the news coming from Japan is increasingly grim. Parts of the Tokyo metropolitan area (of which Yokohama is a major city) are beginning to experience food shortages and residents are advised not to drink tap water due to potential radiological contamination from the damaged reactors in Fukushima, only two hundred miles north of my family.
